2006-12-06: Again with the future
by Emily
It's my birthday today (yay!) and two headlines I woke up to on the browser were: black hole eats star, and NASA plans inhabited lunar base by 2020.
Yup, I lived long enough to truly live in the future. Yes!

And the longer you live, the longer into the future you'll go! (But by the time you'll get there it will be the present.) Happy Birthday!

So are you going to be the forester for the lunar base?

Many Happy Returns
(Of what? Am I hoping you don't like your gifts? What the heck is that phrase supposed to mean? I'm obviously underslept :P )

Thanks guys! Birthdays always make me reflect on how lucky I am, esp. to have friends like you. :)
Race you there, CRN! I hope our grandkids get to go there on class trips together.

Ha! I love oldfangled sayings like that. I was wondering aboutg what exactly "so long" means the other day?
