2009-08-05: 2008, What a Year for Games

So I was looking over the nominees for the Indie RPG Awards from last year, thinking about what would be good candidates for Best Game or Most Innovative. And holy crow! What a mother lode.

- The Solar System
- Sons of Liberty
- Serial Homicide Unit
- Sweet Agatha
- Annalise
- Sea Dracula
- Hot War
- A Dirty World
- Mist Robed-Gate
- It's Complicated
- Poison'd
And those are just the ones I'm most familiar with! How could you possibly narrow it down to the three best? Or one, for crying out christmas?! And there are ones missing even, I totally forgot to enter Under my Skin, and Trial & Terror's not in the free category, and I don't know what else is off that list. Was something in the air last year?
Now I've got to go track down all these other great looking games like Awesome Adventures and Exquisite Replicas.
